We spread the concrete with a square-ended shovel or come-along. We do not use a garden rake or another tined tool for this part of the placement.
Consolidating the Pour
We consolidate the concrete, paying particular attention to the form edges. For larger areas, we may use a vibrating screed or internal vibrator.
